发帖攒人品，我是1月中旬才开始申请的。

先说说我的背景：
新加坡大学computer science本科
GPA： 4.4/5
GMAT: 740
工作: 3.5年科技大公司做屌丝程序员，一次升职

HKUST
Round 1: Potential (Around 25min)
Interviewer: UST在读生，Yuan Lee
这个女生是新加坡NUS毕业的，因为这点和我相似的背景，怎个聊天很轻松。Yuan lee很有ABC的那种感觉和态度，说话很直接，是我喜欢的类型。。。哈哈
- Tell me about yourself
- Why do you choose UST. What is your career plan after the MBA program and how UST program gonna help you to achive your goal?
- You mentioned in your essay about your charity program. Can you elaborate more?
- You also mentioned that you want to contribute to  Women Leadership Club. I'm very interested in it, can you tell me your concept and ideas?
[以上两个问题针对UST essay 3. If you were admitted, how could your participation at HKUST MBA enrich fellow students' experience inside or outside classroom?]
- Do you have any preference for the location of the job after you graduate?
- Do you have any questions for me?
[我问了 1. 你是从新加坡到香港UST读书的，你觉得值不值？2. MBA Course是怎么分配的，多少course work, 多少case study?哪个对你的提升更高？]

Round 2： Background and Motivation (Around 20min)

因为之前听Technician Bernard讲了他是刚来UST不久的director,以前在Rice，所以我就跟他聊了一下他对这个项目的发展理念。最后问了我有多大希望，让我让他们赶紧给我reply。因为我需要reply HKU and CUHK.


CUHK - 面试时间超过1一个小时，各站50%的说话时间
面试官： Michael Ferguson
我先说一句自己的感受，CUHK的面试让我觉得这是对学生最负责任的商学院。通过他们的问题可以明显的感受到他们的那种态度，我不知道平时大家遇到以lawrance为主导的面试是怎样，但是Michael令我由衷的尊敬他。他对于我的每一个回答都有发表他的看法，以及当我说到我在工作中遇到的困难时，他也说到怎么能够更好的解决问题。
- Self intro as usual
- why HK?
- Tell me your career goal (I want to be a product manger after MBA).
- What do you know about product manager? what are the responsibilities of PM?
- Would you consider IT consultant? (I said I still prefer PM)
- What is the most difficult situation you have to deal with in your team?
- Who is the most diffcult client you have to deal with?
- What is the biggest achievement you have got in your company?
- What is the biggest stake you have taken in your current company? (这个不得不说，亚洲商学院很少问这个问题)
- If you stay in your company, how can u get into PM role? Why MBA? (这个问题很有水准)
- If you were the HR or director of your company, what do you think are the concerns/doubts they would have to give you the PM role? (继续有水准)
- What are your dream companies after MBA? ( I mentioned Tencent, Alibaba group, Microsoft, Apple, etc) - 这个问题之后，他很坦诚的跟我说了我的目标有点不显示，他说这些都是很难进的公司
- Suppose those companies are hiring, how do you think you could compete with the people who already have experience in PM? (继续有水准)
- Would you consider a small company who would hire you as a PM after graduation ?
- What is yoru prospect to be a product manager?

其实还有很多一些很零碎的问题，比说我在essay中提到自己自学吉他，他问我是不是想要switch your career to the stage?挺幽默和认真的美国人。他最后说，你看你遇到的困难多数是因为你太年轻，又是女性，所以在team中，老员工会不服，在客户那边也是同样情况。然后他说，I don't really have a good suggestion for this point other than eat and sleep for more years. 然后他说他觉得我现在读MBA还有点早，过去那么多CUHK的毕业生中，有一个也是类似的career goal，但是那个人的工作经验比我多，让我向这个人咨询。今天他已经得到那个人的允许并把他联系方式给我了。

我觉得我应该是拿不到CUHK的offer了，但是我很欣慰能遇到这样对学生负责的面试官。他后来还开玩笑的说，你可以随时来我们学校和这里的学生交流，他们很友好，并且能为你买午餐，他们喜欢这样。

最后最后再说一个有点囧的小插曲，他在给我他电子邮箱的时候，我repeat了一次，把cuhk说成了hku，Micheal说，hey, r u sure which uni u are interviewing? I need to check if I'm working for the right uni. 哈哈，喜欢他的美式幽默。给一个赞！

NTU
面试官： Grace

- Tell me about one achievement in your career
今天这个完全不像是面试我好吧，到成了我面试她了。就上面三个问题。然后她就开始了，let me try to sell the progarm to you too... if you have any question, feel free to interrupt me....


HKU
问题都很杂，TOM和Sachin是面试官，Sachin主导

- why MBA, why choose to study mba in HK
- diff between hk and sg
- what do u think the most valuable thing you have learned from your university?
- what did you learn from you mentor of your company? (my mentor, the program director wrote the recommendation for me)
- what is your weakness
- how would you describe your personality?
- in your life, who has influenced you the most?
- if you were to change on thing in the past, what would you change?


NUS
面试官： angelina, carmen 【都是女人！哈哈】
- self intro
- why MBA?
- go though my job funtions, responsibilities.
- why FT not PT?
- why NUS MBA, not other biz school? have you applied for others?(i mentioned that i have applied for shcools in HK and SG)
- SG and HK, which one you prefer?
- will you be stressful for the potential downtime in the job market? what is the job market would not be good after taking MBA? (这个问题。。。让我觉得有失NUS的水准。。。个人意见，勿喷)
- what is your weakness
- what is the kind of person/personalities you want to be/have? why? give examples of the ppl who have such personalities.

请问你是新加坡本科毕业，为何MBA定位在亚洲，不考虑申请美国的吗

以后就想留在亚洲发展，在亚洲的商学院结实的朋友也多半会在亚洲发展，所以没必要去美国。其次，美国消费也相对较高。

之前听人说，美国m7的华人就业可以在美国，也可在美国以外其他地区，比如香港。而亚洲的mba想去美国工作就比较困难。

另外，lz考虑过insead singapore么？

INSEAD是非常好的学校。毕业生也很受国际公司欢迎。
不过INSEAD的学费是NUS/NTU的至少两倍，而且竞争很激烈。INSEAD学生的平均工作经验是7+ 年，更适合经验丰富，有创业想法的人。

insead 考虑过。但是因为决定申请的时候已经错过了前两轮，最后一轮感觉以我的水平机会不大。instead注重金融方面，但是我偏向做high-tech，所以最后没有申请。

另外，之前认识了两个从insead毕业的人，他们说在intead必须要特别交际，每天都有各种party，要喝很多酒。。。当然所有的MBA都需要social，但从他们口中感觉instead有点过了。

INSEAD官方的说法是保证3个轮次的机会是均等的，所以申请人不用太介意轮次，而应当更注重申请材料的完备。

据说INSEAD是不太喜欢re-apply的申请人的。

NTU 有个waseda-ntu的 似乎注重科技方面。你了解这个项目吗？

当时申请的时候第一志愿就是这个。不过好像还要学习日语。。。
