The Role
The Marketing and Branding Manager will lead and manage all online and offline marketing programs/activities to enhance ISIC’s brand value and to contribute to sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage marketing strategy and budget to meet both short-term and long-term company objectives.
Drive the overall marketing development to support sales growth through multiple marketing channels.
Develop and delivery marketing programs/activities to support ISIC’s merchant partners with their benefit offerings.
Work with external vendors where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations.
Coordinate all social media channel promotion including Weibo, Wechat, and etc
Organize ISIC-branded campus events at leading educational institutions
Lead the development of all marketing materials (English and Chinese)
Conduct regular market research and analysis on user needs and market potential
Other projects / initiatives as necessary
Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and in English
Bachelor degree or above, major in business, marketing, communication or related fields.
3+ years working experience in marketing function; experiences in the consumer services/product sector are strongly preferred
Strong planning and organizational skills
Solid experience with digital marketing and social media promotion through multiple channels
Knowledge about the Chinese student/youth sectors are strongly preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and troubleshoot complex issues while working in a fast-paced environment
Some late night and weekend work will be necessary
Position: Sales Manager – ISIC China, Shanghai
The Role
The Sales Manager will drive ISIC China’s instittutional sales through direct and partnership channels. The incumbent will report to the Market Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sales pipeline and set monthly/quarter sales targets
Be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
Lead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow up.
Conduct sales visits to educational/financial institutions on a regular basis
Identify ISIC co-brand opportunities (Academic, Finance, Transport, other), finalize co-brand agreements
Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales quotas.
Other projects / initiatives as necessary
Qualifications: Fluent written and oral Mandarin and English skills Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree a plus A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the consumer product/services sector, ideally in education/banking.
Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and troubleshoot complex issues while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet and exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis.
Some late night and weekend work will be necessary
Some travel will be required
