我是这么理解的，这个其实也可以看成是果因结构，然后他因削弱，不过我在选项中纠结了很久，上CD也没找到很充分的解释

B. The economic disadvantages of using plastics as a means of packaging goods are not taken into consideration.（out of space）

C. Y attempts to shift the blame for the large amount of plastic in landfills from the users of plastic packaging to the legislators. （没看懂）

D. Y does not consider the concern of some manufacturers that safety features spoil package appearances. （out of space）

E. Y wrongly assumes that X defends the interests of the manufacturers rather than the interests of the consumers.（X也没有保护生产商啊）

做的时候在五个选项里排除后又纠结很久，觉得还是找不到这种题的突破口，而且觉得这个题的逻辑链很奇葩……
C选项不知道怎么解释只知道感觉好像与这题没啥关系，期待解答

这题是选A吧?
C 张冠李戴了, 说Y试图将large amount of plastic...的责任从consumer 转移到立法机构. 这是X的逻辑, 因为塑料太多了, 所以要立法禁止塑料包装.
E选项, X是没保护啊, 所以是Y wrongly assumes....这个也属于无关的选项, 题目问的是Y的argument有什么弱点, 是关于不用塑料就不安全的.
