本人今年北京某211学校大四,金融工程专业,但已经在申请2014年美国会计研究生,计划是毕业后能够凭借AICPA资格证在美国工作一两年。
Have AICPA might increase a little bit chance to get the accounting job in USA. However, AICPA is only a plus to get a job not a requirement. I will say 95% of students won't have AICPA when they graduate, but they still get a job. The employee are looking for the experience more than that CPA certificate. Therefore, internship become really important. If you can get big CPA firm internship during the school, you will increase much more chance to get the job when you graduate. Also, you need to consider that you are a international student. You have a limited of your Visa status. Many firms only hire USA citizen or resident. Therefore, get the CPA certificate won't bring you a job. You have work hard in your grade and your working experience. Good Luck!
Q2 我想在大四这一年的时间里,为注会打打基础,请问可行吗~
I don't think you need to do so. The most important thing is improve your English - speaking and listening. When you get into US master program, you can learn the accounting from the beginning. Learning accounting in Chinese is not much help except confuse you. If I were you, I will concentrate on improving English. You will know how important it is. Because almost every master course has group work and presentation and it occupies at least 50% of your score. If you can't understand what people say and can't present the idea properly, it will be a big problem. Accounting basic knowledge class is easy. However, the master course concentrates more in research and present your opinion for the topic.
Q3如果可行的话,我应该做一个怎样的计划? 比如我应该按什么顺序准备?因为会计基础没有,我要先浏览国内CPA类教材,还是直接上AIC的书?要不要报名什么网络课程呢~
Same suggestion as above.
Q4 准备的话我都需要什么资料,可以在哪里购得呢~
If you are already fluent in English, then I will suggest you to visit the university website. Look at the program that you have applied. Try to see what course will be in the first semester. Then search the textbook for that course. This will give you a head up and understand how you plan to study in the future. |
