TIME3:  01'53'' A private schoole is founded in a country of ShanXi province. The schoole focus on not only the score, but also the ethnic morality. The author ever visited to the school. The schoold indeed charge the tuition. But they will provide the full scholorship for the poor but excellent student. This is a place to achieve the chinese dream for the poor children

The immigrant students trigger the low charge private school because they can not attend the state public school. The immigrants students even have a worse situation than their equivalent in India

personal feedback: it is an interesting to know that private schools are serving the poor kids. Because in my mind, private organizations are always profit-oriented. Even theugh the author show us the wonderful blueprint that education is power,  the author still failed to show us why private schools who hold on higher educational standards would like to situate in rural areas and the poor families can benefit from them.

personal feedback:
1.actually, the author did not show us why social atomosphere is better in private school than in public school. The scnario that he or she are showing us is very positive, but I did not see any evidence or reasoning about students there are more caring about academic performance rather than other goals or students in public schools will less care about Gaokao.
2. in the eyes of the author, the goal of private schools is to cutomize the needs of parents, needs to cultivate children to have higher scores in Gaokao. I doubt whether this goal is real positive to students or not because it mihgt give more pressure to children.

China changed a lot in the last few decades. The enrollment of college students is increased to 25 million, five times more than a decade ago. Then they visit Nanjing University, the president of the University show them around. Then they interview college students in a café in Beijing. Students said people would like to go to prestigious universities even though they may not be able to choose their major. The increasing college students present a lot of pressure on the universities. Whether they can accept so many students and provide high quality education is critical. Then they talk about private universities, such as Xi’an international school. Private schools are impressive with high technology and new buildings. They have more money since the tuition fee is higher than public school. But the authority hoped they will also put more effort on teaching quality. Then they talk about some foreign universities in China, the tuition fee is 9000 dollars and students will receive the degree from the foreign universities.

Wealthy people in China would like to own some property. At the meantime, they are willing to provide their children education in US or Europe to get better education. What about children in rural areas? The best way is to improve the whole education in China for all kids. Then the author stated the situation of America when it was advocating “American Dream”. China is now advocating “Chinese Dream”. People can earn their future based on how much effort they put in rather than people’s background. Therefore, the government should support more private schools in China.
