issue3 求拍砖!!

Do you know Olajuwonone of the 50 super stars in the history of NBA, was a football player in high school ?  It is his coach who dissuade him not to play football  any more on which he was not likely make a live. Then came he to the NBA and made a difference.
   So we can say that Educational institutions ought to dissuade students from pursuing fields of study where they are unlikely to succeed. In some cases, it is sagacious for Educational institutions to do so. Educational institutions should be responsible for the students. If the teachers do not dissuade the students who are engaged in a wrong field, for the students, it may be a tragic. It is miserable to make nothing worthy in a field we beloved. If there are also someone who make less effort but gain more, it may frustrate the students. In the extremity, it may lead murder or suicide.
   On the contrary, when the students are persuaded to make a shift to the "easy field" for him, he can make some achievements. Then it is good for the society, so is him. We can make an analogy here that it's wiser to make a young cat learn climbing a tree rather than swim.
Although the claim is right in some cases, it may be wrong in others. Whether the educational institutions can make a wise judgment dependents on some factors, as well as time, environment and so on. There are someone whose acceptabilities are weak in the incipient period in which  teachers may make a wrong judgment that the students' futures will be bleak in this field. But for these students, they may be a super star after they are familiar with what they pursuit. And also, environment is a key to make a judgment. Don't forget Vincent Van gogh, one of the greatest painters in history, whose paintings are considered useless by the contemporary public. But the history saw his incredible achievements.
Besides, the criterion of success should be defined by the students themselves rather than the educational institutions or the public. Of course, the criterion should be guided under the correct value. Some teachers may define the success as achieving some progress in a certain field, being famous, rich, and healthy, while the students may value having a happy family life more that the above. So, the criterion of success is also pivotal to the debate.
In sum, the teachers should dissuade the students from pursuing fields of study in which they are not likely to succeed after an evaluation from every aspect. And don't forget the criterion of success should be made by the students under correct values.
