Hi there, and thanks for your question! Before getting into my advice, I have one question for you: since you are currently in an MBA program, do you plan to apply for an MSF, MSA, or some other kind of graduate program? These programs are very different in terms of difficulty, material covered, and future career potential. First off, I’d suggest you re-take the GMAT and strive for a score above 700. This will enhance your application in a major way. If you are interested in a Master’s in Finance, I’d suggest you check out Syracuse, Tulane, and CWRU. In your essays, it is crucial that you explain why you want to get this degree, even after you’ve received your MBA. Usually people do this because they want to switch career paths.
