大龄澳籍求定位，年薪10万+AUD,澳洲CPA，任职悉尼世界500强传媒BA，申北美MBA

标题如有冒犯，请海涵。。。
我经历如下，年龄31，05北方2本工程本科 avg 80，06年来澳洲，商业硕士主修会计，08年毕业遇GFC，待业半年后找到悉尼本地会计事务所做审计财报，10年取得CPA。后结合自己IT的优势(主要是finanical modelling),进入悉尼本地 Management Consulting Firm, 大都是澳洲本土银行，政府，百万标的的cases, 偏modelling, IT implementation, corporate performance mngmt, financial mngmt. 期间尝试过 Accenture，IBM 之类的consulting，但是澳洲华人，男，非abc有不可逾越的难度，失败。 12年入职Fortune 500 Media Giant, BA, group KPI, financial reporting，business process improvement etc...

在悉尼这个收入是avg BA salary,但略高于corporate accountant。看到周围middle management基本都是35+洋人，已经看到天花板。因为做过MC，现在也是internal MC， 算是 mix of performance mngmt & change mngmt.

还是想做回MC，可毕竟澳洲市场太小了，也不value MBA，虽然来澳8年但没读US MBA，感觉有那么点遗憾。所以不想考虑本地院校了。

目前最大的阻力是机会成本，拖家带口，还需要老婆支持。 考虑一年/16month MBA, 因为有澳籍 不需要H1B 担保，可能招工相对容易。

敢问CD各路达人，本人目前这个背景，是不是适合再冒一次险？申请什么学校胜券较大？

说一下，你这个澳洲国籍，除了能让你3个月免签，在H1B和绿卡申请上，都没有任何帮助，你和大陆来的同学是一样的。

As a result of US-AU free trade treaty, an individual working visa class (E3) was created for Australian citizen which has a few thouands of quota each year with unlimited renewal. What I heard was the process is slightly different from H1B as it does not require promission from Department of Labour prior to employment.

For Green Card, I agree with you that I wouldn't have any advantages as it is based on the nation of origin not nationality. Anyway green card is not my motivation of studying in US, at the end of the day, going back to China maybe the destiny after my around world journy.

btw，10w+的AUD差不多已经是post-mba的avg income level了，lz是否考虑这个ROI的问题？

楼主的职业规划只有在中国才有希望完成。可是你又想在国外安居乐业。鱼与熊掌不可兼得。做个决断吧。

10w+的AUD差不多已经是post-mba的avg income level了! --- this is not TRUE coz it does not consider the level of Cost of Living in AU (50%) higher than US!

Yes it is a very high oppotunity cost given quitting job, 2 yr of income and work experience..... very hesitated

What about MBA in China??
