a classical mistake for necessary condition with sufficient condition.

As  a necessary condtion,  one without it definitely cannot do sth. but, one with it does not mean he will definately can do sth.

I understand  neg A --------neg B doesn't mean A-----B

But would you please explain more specifically that which premise goes wrong?

Spot the question type: method of the reasoning - flaw

T's conclusion -> Club president had no right to disallow jeffery's vote

1. If you vote, you are a member in good standing.

2. if you are a member in good standing, your due must be fully paid

so, IF you may vote, your due must be fully paid

Jeffery paid the due on time, so president violate the club rules.

Dues paid is the necessary condition of vote, but it is not sufficient enough to guarantee you must be able to vote, and if that's true, there must be the possibilities that president disallow J to vote for the other reasons without violating the law.

Let us dive into the answers.
