[求助]NYU和BU的GMAT分数底线？

刚考完GMAT，成绩不好，MATH50，VERBAL2*（低的那种）总分我想大家也能猜个差不多，偶就不丢人了。按说应该再把成绩考好点再申请，可是我最讨厌准备考试了。实在不想再弄G了，就准备考完TOEFL就申请了。

但是有以下问题请教大家：

1，我想去试试NYU和BOSTON UNIVERSITY，这两个是我最想申请的学校了。不知道他们可以接受的底线是多少呢？

2，还有就是我虽然现在NY，但是我不清楚美国哪些不是很牛大学有比较牛的MS IN FINANCE可以申请的？因为我G成绩太差，不敢想好学校，但是又想学的专业能真学到本事。

3，就是我如果把TOEFL考好点的话，能对我G里很烂的VERBAL有点积极的影响么？

To be perfectly honest,  one consulting company once said that 630/730 is the typical score for top 10, and 600/700 is the typical score for top 20. If that is the case, it wil be harder for you to got NYU than go to BU. But if you have pretty strong background and valuable w/e, impossible is nothing!

Can any experts express your ideas for the assumption mentioned above?

BACKGROUD。。。。。。。。。我才毕业过来，都没工作经验，肯定没什么促进作用了......

我很想上NYU或者BU，但是真不知道在成绩烂，也没工作经验的情况下，是不是成功的几率为零？SIGN

NYU ranked 14 in US NEWS and BU ranked 47 in US NEWS.

2. NYU is pretty good in Finance. I am sorry that I have not idea about Mater of Finance. But there are ranking lists for school on CD. You can find out by yourself!

BU is too so so. I am sure BU can be your safety school!

3. A good TOEFL score is very important! Generally speaking, 600 is the bottom line for top 20 school, Some good schools such as Chicago, Yale and UNC even request that each section of TOEFL should not be lower than 60.
