我个人是认为应该是属于：因果题型。因果题型， 主要的特征是：前提是逻辑上的原因，结论是逻辑上的结果。

本题题干中的“evident from” 说明了后面表达是证据，因此推出前一句是结论。
前提：the behavior of youths (in the pub)
结论是：rock music permanently ousted jazz from the music scene

符合因果关系题型的特征。

我也在探索中，不过这道题，我是这样子做的：
前提：the behavior of youths (in the pub)
结论是：rock music permanently ousted jazz from the music scene

“然后找到答案方向，即因果模式推理有两个CQ：
CQ1：因果概括问题——原文的因和果没有联系或一因有多果
CQ2：干扰因素问题——原文的前提加上选项不一定可以得出结论
因果类型的题目，答案选项必须说出一个因的导致结论可信度变化的特点或者是直接涉及到因果之间的联系。”
（上述是摘抄Prep 08 CR笔记）

根据上述的意思，我当时做的时候，就关注备选答案是否有出现回答CQ1或者CQ2的答案，然后我就选了D选项。
