　　第三段：解释Alder is better at adjusting to the environment changes than pines and survive fire damages better than pines. For example, humans in history caused fire intentionally in order to change their surroundings. In such event, Alder would have grown in the burnt land faster than pines. 然后又讲了how the pollen (or leaves?) of Alder is different from pines that Aldar’s pollen would fall and grow a new sampling and the fallen leaves of Alder would provide better vegetations on the ground…blah blah.

　　第一段：讲一类植物(A打头，拼写忘了)为什么取代了Pine forest.长久以来大家认为是由于天气变化的原因，大约发生在5000-7000年前.
　　有一种belief一直认为是climate造成一种植物(具体名字不记得了，只记得是A开头的)的迁徙、扩散，向western EURO和另一个什么地方延伸，这些地方都是因为新的地方的气候比原来wetter，所以科学家认为是气候造成它们的扩散的.
　　有几个地名，后来有考到，就是讲某个地方的天气在A 取代Pine forest时有什么特点，我的选项是比起现在colder and drier，然而，由于生态学还是什么东西的理论，说是植物在受天气影响的同时也会影响天气(细节不确定)，大致的意思就是说Climate 不大可能是唯一的因素。
　　第二段：讲的是目前一个新的evidence发现，在Britain，在人们认为的气候发生变化之前，A植物已经占据了那里，这是为什么呢?为什么像A这么一个喜爱潮湿环境的物种会在那个时候出现在那里呢?后来发现英国在8500年前有这种植物，那时候应该 colder & drier，却很多a的植物，原因是a在某一sediment layer，也就是coal很多的地方最多，而coal很多代表有用火，因此说到其实是因为人类用火，让a植物在困难的环境中生存，因为a比较能抵挡严苛 的环境，所以survive
　　第三段：解释第二段的为什么，因为A植物比起Pine来说是更为有效率的殖民者，红字部分考了一道题说这个colonist提示了我们什么?我选的是指进入一片area，之前它在这个Area里面没有出现过，A植物比起Pine更能适应环境。史前人物活动，Blablablah，造成的一些东西，如erosion等什么，对A植物都是有利的，等等，Blablablah～
