从今年8月开始的新GRE考试，在语文，数学，写作等方面都做了不小的调整，以下是考试形式，时间，内容等方面的具体变化，变化利弊，及考生的有效应对策略的分析。

总体变化：

变化1：由每年两次的机考+笔考，变成了每月1-2次的机考
利：考位更灵活，为不同的考生提供了适合的考试机会
弊：考试时间变长，（下面会具体分析）
PS：新GRE考试初期考位有限，而现在很多美国学校接受资料的截至日期都有所提前，请各位考生注意。

变化2：一般的计算机适应性考试过程中，考生一旦选定了某一题的答案，就不能再做任何修改。而新GRE考试采取多阶考察(Multi-Stage Test )的形式，利用计算机适应性技术，考生在考试的每个阶段/部分所面对的考题，其难度由考生在上一个部分的答题表现所决定。每个部分新增preview和mark & review修改功能（但是不能跨区）
利：允许考生浏览和回顾考题或者修改已经做出的答案。


变化3：增加了更多的语境理解，强调了考生的推理，分析的阅读能力和在实际生活中的计算，逻辑分析能力
利：新的提醒，使得GRE能够反应出商学院和研究生院所需的技能，让GRE成绩被更多的学院（尤其是商科）认可

变化4：分值由原来的每个section200-800 变为现在的130-170
利：凸显出分数的差别。消除了10分档造成的分数级错觉，更客观的反应了考生的真实水平。

变化1：时间增加，每部分30分钟，题量减少，每部分约20题
利：有更多的时间做题

变化2：取消了类比反义题型
利：减少了对单词涵义背记的孤立考察，一些生僻的不使用单词不再成为考试的重点
弊：考试中最节省时间的考试部分被取消，简单地说。没有秒选题了
对策：背单词，注重实用性。但是注意，考试减少对词汇量的考察，并不意味着不考察，而是将其融入具体题目的语境中考察。

变化3：阅读1）篇幅缩短，数量增加。2）文章体裁更加多样性 (academic or nonacademic)； 3）题型多样化。在新GRE考试中阅读有三种题型：单选(5选1)、多选(3选多)、点句。

变化1：issue从原来的2选1变成现在的1选1

应对策略：对issue题目进行分类，争取每个类型都有提纲，都有例举。

变化2：issue时间从原来的45分钟缩短到30分钟
弊：时间缩短，对即使写作要求提高
应对策略：提高打字速度，熟悉题库中题目，及其写作提纲。尽量不在列提纲上耽误时间

变化3：在给分要求上，更讲究事理和事例对观点的支撑
弊：需要考生准备更多的例子来阐明观点，而不能泛泛而谈
