原本选﹙D﹚，始终觉得that of很多余…
现在觉得应该选﹙A﹚，不是因为什么前后结构配合，或是在形式上的对称，我觉得这都非必要条件…
选﹙A﹚是因为﹙D﹚有一个大问题…
unlike A, B…，A和B比较时，词性、数量要相等…
﹙D﹚中的
Unlike earlier works on slavery, Blassingame’s innovative study…
works和study的单复数不相等，故错。

实际上是：Unlike that of earlier works on slavery, the study of Blassingame  relies not on... but on.... 怎么看也不对称，因为works 和blassingame没有可比性

开始选了D, 现在觉得A 也挺好.    A 说了unlike___________, Blassingam's innovative study relies not on the record of W owners  but on the record of the slaves themselves.

暗示了 _________部分relies on the record of W owners.  

    A study on earler works,  Blassingam's study on the record of the slave themselves.

         

但是我觉得D 更加简洁, A 和D 意义上有差别. A 将STUDY 关于奴隶制度的著作 和Blassingame's study 相比

                                          D 将关于奴隶制度著作和Blassingam's study 相比.   earlier works 和 Inovative study 挺工整的.

我还是喜欢D 多点. 谁能把A kill 了? 我们好宽心.

我支持A，虽然做题时在A/D间犹豫，works与study比不是那么适合。至于D比A简洁，我倒不觉得

刚开始的时候，我选择D，但是看了讨论以后，觉得还是选A。因为比较的是关于著作的研究，而不是直接关于slave的研究，

和35楼刚好相反, 我认为要研究的是salve, 而不是"著作".(实际上, work可以简单的理解为工作, 和study是同义词, 而不是著作).

从意思上理解:

D: 和早期的对奴隶制的研究不同, B的研究依靠奴隶的, 而不是奴隶主的记录. (暗示早期的研究依靠奴隶主的记录)

A: 和早期的对奴隶制著作的研究不同, B的研究依靠奴隶的, 而不是奴隶主的记录. (这里出现逻辑混乱: 是早期的"著作"依靠奴隶主记录, 还是早期的"研究"依靠奴隶主记录?)

我也觉得应该从逻辑上面理解，研究的是奴隶，而不是奴隶著作。
