None of them are useful...CMA requires 30 CPE credit hours while US CPA needs 40. Most of people take US CPA first and then CMA because they can use their CPE earned by CPA to cover CMA. If you are interested in consulting, I'd say none of them can be very helpful in knocking out a door to consulting for you. Just my two cents, I could be always wrong.
