How to deal with several matters at the same moment is an essential ingredient that must be taken into consideration by whoever wants to enhance productivity. Someone may prefer to finishing one project one by one in order to ensure the quality of every part, while others may tend to choose a superficially effective way which is to do more than one thing synchronously. From my point of view, I prefer to finishing one task before starting another for following reasons.

First of all, solving problems in sequence can guarantee a better quality of the production. When people concentrate on only one subject, they always dedicated themselves to it, exploiting what they have learned before to achieve the goal. In contrast, if people select to deal with two projects at the same time in the hope of saving time, it is quite hard for them to make a win-win solution to solve problems together. Take me for an instance, when I prepared for my GMAT exams, which have three sections in the verbal part, I supposed that I could study all of them at the same phase, which appeared to be time saving and efficient. As a consequence, I failed in my first test. After that, I changed my review plan, turning to prepare different section one by one. Finally, I did well in the latest test.

In addition, focusing on one matter at one moment can help cultivate the character of persistence. When people are occupied by one thing for a long time, they may feel somewhat boring and tired. But the intense desire of success pushes them to insist on the project without idea of giving up. On contrary, if people are facing with different matters, they may be distracted and arduous to accomplish only one of them. When I was in primary school, I participated in three interest classes at the same semester, but none of them did I kept attending till the end of the term. My father told me that you could not change your target until you finished the ongoing one and that only to persist in one thing could you obtained something meaningful in the end.

All in all, if there are quantities of tasks waiting for me to accomplish, I will choose to figure out them orderly, a method that may bring me a higher productivity and equip me with good habit of insistence.

How to deal with several matters at the same moment(in a certain period似乎更妥) is an essential ingredient that must be taken into consideration by whoever wants to enhance productivity. Someone may prefer to finishing(prefer to do ) one project one by one (用finish the product one by one 赶脚更好,,one有点多)in order to ensure the quality of every part, while others may tend to choose a superficially effective way which is to do more than one thing synchronously. From my point of view, I prefer to (prefer to do )finishing one task before starting another for following reasons.

Have you ever been late for work result from traffic jam? Have you ever queued up for a long time in order to see a famous doctor? Have you ever been caught in a place because the streets are waterlogged? If you have had such experiences, you would never deny the fact that it is highly significant for government to spend money on basic needs instead of developing or buying computer technology.
To begin with, basic infrastructure projects, which are playing extremely important role in people's life, should be given priority. Government ought to consider various kinds of fundamental constructions such as transportation project, medical facility and supplies of electricity and water. Once one of the basic infrastructure projects goes wrong, the whole inhabitants will be involved in a big disturbance. Take Wuhan for instance, almost every year when rainy season comes, Wuhan city have to face flood inside the city, which brings lots of trouble to residents' going out. It is the flaw of drainage system in Wuhan that leads to such heavy water problem.
In addition, investing money in the basic construction can be more cost-effective than in computer technology. If government purchases a large number of computers, they also have to teach workers how to utilize computer technology or employ high-tech elites. Both of the means are at a great expense. In contrast, if government spends money on constructing medical facilities, city subways or athletic equipment, such kind of projects can come into use as soon as they are completed.
Some people may disagree with me by asserting that the use of computer technology can dramatically change our life style by making it become more convenient and high-speed. Frankly, with the tremendous progress of the Internet, computer technology can be exploited to improve efficiency and productivity. Nevertheless, if our society is not well equipped with basic infrastructures, the primary standard of life may hardly be reached and citizens may complain about the government all day. Only if the basic constructions have been perfected does government take the efficiency and improvement into consideration.
In conclusion, considering all the factors I have mentioned above, it is better for government to invest the money in basic needs rather than computer technology.

后面切下主题,不该过分注重computer 忽略人民基本需求)

Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in?
Have you ever been caught in a traffic jam in a capital city? Have you ever felt out of breathe because of the heavy pressure from work? Have you ever been frustrated when seeing the high price of a house? If you live in a big city, I bet you have had such experience. What do you think of these? If I were you, I would move to a small town. Reasons are explained in different dimensions to testify my choice.
First of all, there is no denying that the pace of people's daily life is slower in small towns than that in metropolis. In a big city, young people strive for their dreams, working hard to purchase a big apartment or to reach a powerful position. Standing on the street, you may find pedestrian walking hurry with tiring and worrying look on their face. In contrast, life in a small town can be much more comfortable and easeful. People wander around on the street without hurry, wandering what to eat for dinner rather than what to prepare for a meeting. A survey from a psychology website recently has shown that inhabitants living in small towns have a higher happiness index than people living in big cities. Thus I would like to live in a relaxing and low-paced small town.
In addition, without traffic jam and air pollution, the environment in a small town can be more suitable for human beings. In metropolis, even government construct many kinds of transportation facilities, the traffic jam problem has never been solved because of the huge number of cars. What's worse, because cars exhaust toxic gas, the air quality of a big city are quite low. According to a report from the air quality monitor centre, the air pollution is more severe in big cities than in small towns. As a consequence, people living a big city are more likely to suffer respiratory diseases. Nobody would like to live in such a horrible circumstance.
Furthermore, residents living in a small town always keep in touch with friends and neighborhood. Before my family moved to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, we lived in a small town, where people there are friendly and willing to help each other. Three years ago since we settled down in Wuhan, however, rarely did I meet my neighbors. People just care about themselves with no regard of others. I really don't like to live in a place where people are indifferent and selfish.
All in all, considering all the factors I have provided, I definitely prefer to choose to live in a small town. Without skyscrapers and car exhausts, I can see the big open sky more clearly.

The advice you take from the friends who are older than you is valuable than that taken from the friends at your age.

As we are growing up day by day, a large number of challenges are waiting for us to confront. With this perception, the advice from other people seems necessary and significant. When it comes to whether we should adopt advice from the older friends or peers, I vote for the former since I deem that the advice taken from the older is more valuable.

First of all, the older friends, because of older ages, have experienced a lot, knowing more about how to do the right things and how to avoid conducting errors. Such experience is of great value to us by directing us to find out proper and exact solutions when we are in troubles or hesitations. For instance, when I was attending to university, I was quite uncertain which major should I choose. At that time, I even did not decide what I really dream for. Finally my older sister, who graduated for several years, told me a lot about different subjects and some useful advices of working orientation.

In addition, the older friends not just suggest us how to behavior rightly when we are faced with difficulties but show us how to think in different aspects and how to make independent judgments. Compared with the older, friends who are as old as us, especially in young age, are easily instigated by others and often consider problems superficially, thus the advice from them always lack rationality and deliberation. When we were suffering depressions and frustrations received in study or work, it is older friends that comfort us and instruct us to open mind and keep optimistic by telling us the essence of the life.

Admittedly, some opponents may disagree with me, claiming that only the peers can truly comprehensive our situations and think about us from our own perspective. Is this really the case? Actually, even the friends are undergoing the same thing like you are, hardly do they know the most appropriate solutions to problems. They are even unable to solve their own troubles. What they can do is only to share joys and sorrows with you but not give you any valuable advice.

All in all, considering all the advantages of advices from the older friends, I am definitely a proponent of that asking the older for advice, we are prone to receive more valuable suggestions.

Have you ever been caught in a traffic jam in a capital city? Have you ever felt out of breathe because of the heavy pressure (high pressure) from work? Have you ever been frustrated when seeing the high price (cost) of a house? If you live in a big city, I bet you have had such experience. What do you think of (感觉think about更好一些,think of 更倾向于想起) these? If I were you, I would move to a small town. Reasons are explained in different dimensions to testify to my choice.

First of all, there is no denying that the pace of people's daily life is slower in small towns than that in metropolis. In a big city, young people strive for their dreams, working hard to purchase a big apartment or to reach a powerful position. Standing on the street, you may find pedestrians walking hurry with tiring and worrying look on their faces. (这句读着有些别扭,感觉 you may find that pedestrians walking hurried with the tired and worried look on their faces.顺一些)In contrast, life in a small town can be much more comfortable and easeful. People wander around on the street without hurry, wandering what to eat for dinner rather than what to prepare for a meeting. A survey from a psychology website recently has shown that inhabitants living in small towns have a higher happiness index than people living in big cities.(幸福指数这个论据很棒呢) Thus I would like to live in a relaxing and low-paced small town.

In addition, without the traffic jam and air pollution, the environment in a small town can be more suitable for human beings. In metropolis, even government construct many kinds of transportation facilities, the traffic jam problem has never been solved because of the huge number of cars. What's (What is 写作里最好不要出现缩写)worse, because cars exhaust toxic gas, the air quality of a big city are(is) quite low. According to a report from the air quality monitor centre, the air pollution is more severe in big cities than in small towns. As a consequence, people living in a big city are more likely to suffer respiratory diseases. Nobody would like to live in(under) such a horrible circumstance.

Three years ago since we settled down in Wuhan, however, rarely did I meet my neighbors. People just care about themselves with no regard of others. I really don't(do not同上) like to live in a place where people are indifferent and selfish.

All in all, considering all the factors I have provided, I definitely prefer to choose to live in a small town.(prefer to live in a small town更简洁些,因为偏好就是自己的选择了,prefer to choose 有些赘述) Without skyscrapers and car exhausts, I can see the big open sky more clearly.

The only effective way to encourage energy conservation is by increasing prices of gasoline and electricity. Do you agree or disagree?
With the increasing price of gasoline and electricity, people seem to drive cars less frequently and use less electricity. Government officers take it for granted that this way is the only effective way to save energy resource. Is it really the case? I do not quite think so. Taking no consideration of other situations, this statement appears superficially plausible. Nevertheless, there are many alternative means to help reach the goal of conserving energy.

To begin with, discovering alternative energy resource can be an effective way to solve the energy crisis as well. With extraordinary progress of science and technology, scientists are sparing no effort to find out new kind of fuel energy such as hydrogen energy, wind energy and crops energy and so on. Such kinds of energy, unlike the fossil fuel which are not regenerative, can be used in cycle. A survey conducted by the energy department recently has shown that the number of automobiles burning other kind of fuel to activate has increased by ten percent, which means rare energy such as gasoline can, to some extent, be economized.

Additionally, we cannot conserve energy resource at the cost of slowing down the speed of development, thus the most essential method to be taken is to improve the efficiency of utilizing fuel. A research has investigated a hundred industrial factories, indicating that about thirty percent of the fuel is spoiled in the process of making products. Therefore, instead of increasing the price of energy resource, it is more valuable to reduce the waste of original energy source

Furthermore, even government enhance the price of energy source, their objective of energy conservation is hardly to be realized. Since some energy source such as oil and electricity are playing an essential role in the process of manufacturing products, it is impossible for industrial factories to reduce the use of such necessary original material. As a consequence, by increasing prices of energy source may be devoid of effectiveness.

In the end, in order to save energy, raising the price of gasoline and electricity is definitely not the only effective way. Other methods such as replacing traditional fuel with new alternative fuel or improving the use ratio of resource can also be effective ways.
