Society should make efforts to save endangered species only if the potential extinction of those species is the result of human activities.


Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.

论点：We should try our best to save endangered species regardless what causes this species extinction.
正：首先，减少对自然环境的人为干预，保证自然环境的平衡，非常重要。
（1）有助于各种物种在自然规律的支配下健康的发展
（2）有利于自然环境的和谐
反：但是，尊重自然的和谐不等于对物种危机的袖手旁观
（1）任何物种都有存在的价值和意义，物种直接相互联系相互依赖，共同构成了大自然，任何一种物种的灭绝都是我们不愿意看到的。（例如，大熊猫的濒临灭绝不是人类直接造成的，但是人类还是努力保护，因为它对研究古生物很有帮助）
（2）有些物种和人类有紧密联系，对人类自身的发展都有重要意义。（如一些鸟类，可以吃害虫，对农业有好处，可以减少农药pesticide的使用）
（3）我们很难断定一种物种的灭绝是不是由人类引起的
反：因此，我们在尊重自然规律的前提下，应当尽力保护濒临灭绝的物种。


With the development of technology and science, more and more people suggest that we should only make efforts to save endangered species only if the potential extinction of those is the result of human activities. While assertion may be good to keep the nature developing under its rule, in my opinion, we should try out best to protect species regardless what causes the extinction.


First of all, keep the influence made by human activities is good to nature, which is the prerequisite of natural balance. As we known, all the different kind of species in the world are closed connected together and each one depends on others. Even though a little human influence with negative effect on a specific specie may finally become a disaster. For example, in the 1930s, European persons bring some animals from their hometown to Australian and a few years later, the number of these species increase dramatically, thus natural balance is obvious disturbed.


However, since the whole world of different species form a big family and every specie on the Earth is very unique. Thus no one will be glade to see extinction of any of them. Duo to this reason, we should not keep silent when some valuable species are dying. Indeed, a lot of species have direct or in-direct connections with human beings, so their extinction will be a big lost to our society and academic research. For example, panda which live on our Earth for a long history is recognized as good friend of human. Besides, it is also a effective way to research aged animals in the old times. So today, in different counties of the world, panda is well protected by human beings even though its extinction is not directly caused by our activities. By the way, some specific species, such as birds living in the farms, can help farmers to protect their corps, thus we should help them also.


Furthermore, since it will take a long time for us to make sure whether one specie's extinction is caused by our activities, help should be offered in time before the assertion is made. If we only focus on the reason which cause the specie's extinction and do nothing to help it, later we may lost the opportunity to save them at all.


In conclusion, while keeping the nature developing under its own rule is important, we should try out best to protect species regardless what causes the extinction.
