[Problem] I do agree D is right but why C is NOT correct?
According to line 4 and line 6, "no court of law in any state has found me guilty of any criminal offense whatsoever", "an individual is considered innocent until proven guilty"

Premise1: No court of law found chairmen guilty of any criminal offense
Premise2: Individual is innocent until proven guilty
Conclusion1: chairmen is innocent of any criminal offence

Moreover, the "ANY" corresponds to the strict tongue used in the original paragraph, I am very tempted to choose C, rather than D.
So I am not sure how to choose between C and D.

from the premises provided in the excerpt, the conclusion should be:

" the chairman is CONSIDERED innocent of any criminal offence".

whereas C claims  "The chairman IS innocent of any criminal offense"

Remember, there is a difference between "considered" and "actually"
