题目问weaken the reasoning，不是说weaken the conclusion。就是说要找他的逻辑推导错误。

文中逻辑推导的思路是，两种原因，选择disease。原因是有两个现象：1、seals and sea lions生病，could have spread给海獭。2、whales没有数量的变化，所以就应该是disease导致的。

此reasoning的错误就是忽略了两个原因是彼此相关的。即因为disease而导致whale吃海獭。

A答案是fill the flaws of argument。
