这个题我用不一样的角度解释一下这个题：我把这个题归类因果题。由COLSON非打折店的open，导至其它不能喝COLSON竞争的store关门。 推导出 打折店会因为SPENDLESS的open关门。 削弱---切断因果

B---切断因果间本来的联系

In the five years since the opening of Colson’s, a nondiscount department store, a new store has opened at the location of every store in the shopping district that closed because it could not compete with Colson’s.（这是premise2，意思就是Colson这家店销路很好，那些被SpendLess挤掉的店的location，以后大概会是Colson的）

(A) Many customers of Colson’s are expected to do less shopping there than they did before the SpendLess store opened. （A选项是从另一面加强premise1,就是说SpendLess很厉害，别的店就算Colson也竞争不过它，排除。）
(B) Increasingly, the stores that have opened in the central shopping district since Colson’s opened have been discount stores. （B选项是一个新的premise,哪怕意思有点绕，第一次看题干的时候可以先留下B选项。这个Premise说明Colson没有能力去抢占discount stores的客源，SpendLess就是discount stores，所以Colson不一定能占据被SpendLess挤掉的店的location.）
(C) At present, the central shopping district has as many stores operating in it as it ever had. （C选项和premise, conclusion都没有关系，排除）
(D) Over the course of the next five years, it is expected that Goreville’s population will grow at a faster rate than it has for the past several decades. （D也无关，排除。）
(E) Many stores in the central shopping district sell types of merchandise that are not available at either SpendLess or Colson’s.（E也无关，排除）

光从题干看不出来C周围的新店是折扣还是不折扣，按照B的逻辑才能说明是非折扣店
