1. RW put forward a research: spray salt water of the ocean into the sky to create cloud, thus reflecting the light and decreasing the temperature. (marine cloud brightening) He wants to know how big the droplets can be made from the cloud and what’s the impact of this action.
2. The principle of Marine cloud brightening: spray small particle into the sky. Made by the salt water, the cloud can reflect the light of the sun, thus cooling the weather.
3. What RW does is try to use Geo method to control the climate. This method is controversial since it may both cause ethical and political problems. Moreover, we don’t know the exact impact of this method.
4. W insists that this kind of study be done, that is to say, we cannot stop the research just because we don’t know the exact impact. But we should do the research very carefully. He did some experiments. ( three steps)
