我选E，正确答案是B。但B项——如果购买正版是唯一的办法，可是人们还是不买，不是恰恰是影响正版行业业绩的原因么？因而该行业的损失应该比较大，而不是小呀
我的理解求牛人指点。

楼主理解错了题干意思，题干说的是，那些拷贝盗版软件的人，不是大多数人啦

我也来讲下E为啥不对吧。

题目说，经常被盗版的软件数量跟市面上出售的软件比起来数量比较低。这并不能说明行业损失也很低，有可能出售的软件数量超级多，被盗版只占了10%，但是基数大，损失也大。

题目上没有说盗版数量和正版数量的关系啊，为什么说基数大损失大呢？题目说是非法复制的人对programs不感兴趣。为什么B选项是和purchase 有关呢

后面个问题不大懂你的意思，但是基数大损失大看下面例子

比如说一年里面被盗版的软件只占了0.1%，可是当年有1000000000000000000个软件出版，那么你算下有多少盗版软件。
百分数不能代表什么，要看基数

我觉得E错在：频繁被盗版的软件数量上是比总软件少，但是注意了，这里用的单位是数目，而不是金额！话句话说，这些频繁被盗版的软件很可能是价值很高的软件，而其他那些大部分都是价值低的软件，所以造成的损失还是很大的。

E答案错在没有找到题干的argument，题干的核心是：

如果选择E，那就和thus前面的那句话没关系了

我觉得楼主题目还是没读透，我试试解释一下

计算机行业盗版问题被严重夸大了，绝大多数盗版软件是由那些根本对它没兴趣的人做的，因此，损失对这个行业来说相当小，因为——B ：即使买是唯一得到软件的方式，他们也不会买

B选项，和题干，很耦合，因为这些人对这些软件没有真正的兴趣，当然不会买了

D、E选项有一定合理性，因为D、E的推理相对真实世界是对的，但不选的原因：
和题干中的premise信息no serious interest in the programs无关，也就是和题干的推理不大相干

我们要选的选项是，和题目推理过程更相关的选项，不是脱离题目，和真实世界更相关的选项

损失是在销量上

如果这些copy的人对软件本身没兴趣并且本来就不可能去买这些软件那么就没有损失

如果有些人对软件有兴趣这些人copy了软件那么损失就很大因为这些人如果不copy是会去买软件的

如果把D选项理解为：revenue=sale-cost不知道行不行？？就是说sale要跟sale比，sale不等于revenue，求解答，我一直纠结D选线
