Well, if I retire at 65, then I have 25 years to do research, that is pretty good.
I am also a CFA. However, I like read journal of finance way better than read anything CFA related.
I know I am late in the game, even if I get admitted and graduated, I will subject to ageism when looking for a job. But I thought about doing Phd when I was 30, I didn't do it and I regret now. I don't want to regret again when I am 50.
