不过这题跟2003.10 JJ 的第241题有些不同。提出来大家讨论一下。

三位数abc，a、b、c为96的三个因子。求b。

1. 三位数为奇数。

2. 百位数为8。

笨蛋Sandy的想法是：有843、823两个可能（B=4 or 2）所以觉得E很不错。

大家觉得呢？

有843、823两个可能（B=4 or 2）所以觉得E很不错。

投E一票。843，823都满足条件。而且如果没有说明a<>b<>c,那么就有更多的解了。

我选C。  823 不能满足product of the unit, tens & hundreds digits,  is 96 ， 只有843 满足条件。

the right answer is b,

a just tell us that the units should be 3,but tell nothing about the hundreds,so it is insufficient

while b tell us that the hundreds digit is 8,so it must be 843

That's enough, what we want to know is whether the units equals to a odd number or not.

while b tell us that the hundreds digit is 8,so it must be 843

How come it must be 843? how about 834.
