注意其他部分是不变的,那么in better sound的位置就应该是

has been the use of the new technology to revitalize, in better sound than was ever before possible, some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-LP era.

colala把in better sound..放到pre-lp era后没有任何依据

应该是这样的（the use of the new technology to revitalize some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-lp era） has been（ no less remarkable ）than（ the development of the compact disc ）
in better sound than was ever before possible是插入成分，说明revitalize要达到的结果或效果，

（the use of the new technology to revitalize some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-lp era），（in better sound than was ever before possible）， has been（ no less remarkable ）than（ the development of the compact disc ）。补全的话应当是to revitalize classic recorded performance to the extent that it is in better sound than was ever before.不是“说得更准确些“的意思

这道题其实处理起来并不复杂，

首先：看到倒装，找可以倒装的前置词，no less remarkable than;其他的词一般都不用来倒装

然后看主语the use of new technology的谓语一致，就做出来了

要说明的是英语里的倒装，通常就是为了避免头重脚轻，所以to….pre-LP era，明显是修饰the use of new technology的
