黑胶唱片（LP）的特点就是声音的失真，扭曲。这是新技术必须要解决的。考虑到这一点，把in better sound than was ever before possible为插入语，感觉不太合适。

to revitalize 应该是主语 the use of the new technology   的修饰语，而红色的 in better sound than was ever before possible 部分是插入语作rebitalize的状语。

应该还原为：

the use of the new technology  ( to revitalize some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-LP era in better sound than was ever before possible)has been no less remarkable than the development of the compact disc.
