Why do you think GSB like HR, or values maritime work experience? I think GSB doesn't prefer any kind of experience over the other.
For the GMAT, I guess there should be a bottom line although it's never explicityly admitted. I guess for Chinese, if your GMAT is below 700, your chance is slim.
What is the chance of a Chinese applicant to be admitted in R3? I just completed the on-campus interview last Saturday and was really impressed by GSB. Thanks!
I was not able to schedule for an interview before submitting my application material. Originally I planned to visit the campus and do the interview then. However, the admission committee replied that if I do so, the first one or two readers might not be able to review the interview records. May I ask for some advice on this matter? If I do go there in February, is it too late to have an interview? Or do you recommend me to do a telephone interview first and visit the campus later if possible?
If you are confident with your interpersonal skills and speaking, I suggest you to go to campus and talk to adcom people. That would add much weight to your application. Otherwise, you can first conduct the phone interview.
If you vivist school in Feb, it's not too late. I assume you apply R2.
