Another question:

Is the photocopy of diploma/degree conferal a must in the package? (In addition to transcripts)

I have already sent out the package while suddenly found on Stern's website that International students should submit this. No related words in on-line application instruction. I don't know whether the transcript sealed in envelop is already with such copies?

I cannot find these data from Stern's website.

Theoretically (based on application rules) it seems that those mailing materials must be received by deadline, but this issue is at least negotiable with admission committee. I know a few of my classmates actually had their recommendation letters submitted 3-5 days after the deadline. So it might be workable for late submission on recom letters (not sure about transcripts), but you better inform the adcoms before doing that and get well prepared for solid explanations as well.

not required as the adcoms will directly read the PDF version of your application packet.

1. Just write down the one you are applying simutaneously. Definitely no need to put all the 4 names displayed on your GMAT score sheet. Many applicants add, drop and change their short-listed schools on GMAT score sheet when they eventually apply (e.g. I submitted scores to 5 schools but finally applied 3 out of them plus an extra option.)

2. Whatever you put in responding to the "other schools applied", even Stern's direct competitors (Columbia, Wharton and Chicago), there won't be any problem. Just get a bit prepared for sort of "how to compare Stern with blahblahblah" questions when you are at interview.

Yes, the officially authorized copies of your program/degree diploma are required. You can confirm with your previously-entered colleges whether the official transcripts contain those copies. Never mind too much if you have sent out them without a double-check because most of Chinese universities/colleges bundle those diploma with their official transcripts. And even in case your diploma are missing in the transcript packet, the admission committee will just ask you to sumit them without any penalty.

Thanks Joshuatree. Then what about T & G Score reports arriving several days later than the deadline? I sent the request in Mid-Nov and I am sure they can arrive by early Dec. But not certain whether they can be reached by the deadline...

据我从Stern北京 representation了解，学校会先按照申请者提供的分数做评审，最后等ETS分数寄到，再做最终决定。

所以不必担心分数寄送的问题。
