网站上说这种adcom面试是预约的，但要看你所在地区是否available, 我去申请过，发现很长一段时间内北京、上海都没有合适的面试，而校友面试是by invitation only的。 seems nothing to do with it but submit the whole package and wait...

楼上正解，adcom面试是预约的，而校友面试只有invitation only。由于Anderson在大陆校友数量有限，不能给每位申请者提供面试。事实上，我觉得面试在Anderson的录取过程中占的比重比较有限，还是集中精力把application package做好。

I have two questions:

1, I had the BA degree of self-study exam program, i am not sure whether i has any problem to apply for UCLA.

2, I got the info from the ucla website as following:

The Admissions Committee reviews your application only once during an admissions cycle and will use the GMAT score you designate on the Data Form. However, if you take the GMAT more than three times, it is averaged.

My question is whether the gmat would be averaged if took over 3 times in the real practice, need your opinion as an insider, thanks.

i tried to schedule an interview(on campus or off campus) yesterday, but nothing is available right now. is there any alternative? such as pay a visit to the school? what about scheduling a phone interview?

as i understand, you need to finish the interview before 2/7/2005 for the second round. Another question is that second round's deadline and third round's are so close. does it matter a lot which round to apply?
