Whether duties and liability should pay for damage is discussed.
There are two ways to pay for the damage. Duties means something rule in law, so if we damaged, we should pay for. But the liability is that something doesn’t rule in law, (may it was objected by society. I guess) someone also needs to pay for. It gives an example to explain this. Someone allow their dog run to somewhere to pay for $300.
There are 3 theories to defend this. First is R theory which said if we need to pay the damage, it will lead to higher utility. The second is that if has utility, so it should rule in law. The third is based on these two above, is bound to fail.( I don’t know what is that mean)
