The Board of trustees of the Federici Art Museum has decided to sell some works from its collection in order to raise the funds necessary to refurblish its galleries . Although this may seem like a drastic remedy,the curator had long maintained that among the paintings that the late Ms.Federici collected for the museum were serveral unsuccessful immature works by Renoir and Cezanne that should be sold because they are of inferior quality and so add nothing to the overall quality of the museum's collection . Hence ,the board's action will not detract from the museum's collection.

      choice B is the best answer

      according to the passage, the board want  to sell some works of the museum to raise money.  the curator supported the board's dicision by arguing that to sell some works of Renoir and Cezanne may not endanger the museum's collection

      the curator presumed that  the works the board's want to sell are exactly the works of Renoir and Cezanne

     thus B is the right answer

     A, C, D, and E can not be deduced from the passage, that is to say, none is the necessary requirement of the passage.
