自我安慰下 - 迄今尚未收到UCLA的interview invitation

Before the beginning of this article, 衷心地恭喜已經拿到R2 offer的申請人！

換言之，連interview invitation都沒拿到的，就更悲催了，嗚嗚... ...
搜尋了一下學校的admission blog，以下訊息也許可以稍稍安慰一下自己吧 @@

1. R2 Application Deadline 是 10-Jan。但Adcom好像幾乎是到Feb才開始review r2 profiles.
2. 整個二月以及三月份都會持續發放interview invitation。
   儘管我覺得接下來的invitation大部分是會發給 on campus interview / US domestic 的 applicants。
   但，安西教練說，在還沒看到rejection以前就放棄的話，那申請就註定結束了。

So... ... 全力祈福中！！！

Our office is on the home stretch finalizing Round 1 decisions, and we are also polishing up our iPad screens to gear up for some intense Round 2 file reading.  The next several months are going to be extremely busy for us, especially given that applications for the full-time MBA program are up again this round!  Not only are the numbers looking good, but the quality of the pool continues to impress us, and we're definitely looking forward to meeting more outstanding candidates as we craft the Class of 2014 .
On that note, here's an update on what our applicants can expect over the next few months:
- Round 1 decisions: The rest of our R1 decisions will be released on the morning of Wednesday, January 25th (Pacific Time).  You can log into your online application for a status update then.  Admitted students will also receive a phone call from the admissions office (or an email if we are unable to reach you).
- Round 2 applications: The vast majority of R2 files will be released to the admissions committee after round 1 decisions are out.  Although the application deadline was a week ago, we want to make sure each R1 application gets adequate evaluation time by the admissions committee before focusing on R2.  Which takes us to our next item...
- Round 2 interviews: Interview invitations will be sent via email starting next month.  We anticipate most will take place throughout February and March, depending on how quickly the admissions committee can evaluate applications.  lease note that R2 is our heaviest round by volume, so even though we will devote our time and resources into file reading, it will still take time to go through each one.  We thank you in advance for your patience through this process!

感謝關注！

1. Kelley offer 尚未知曉。不知道她家開始發了沒？
   這所真的是我很喜歡的學校 (given pool location > <)

2. 因為真的對entertainment industry 有所嚮往
   本月份已經換了工作。告別三年多的小摩，擁抱film commission。
   Salary decrease 是個痛啊 ~~

   也正因為如此，UCLA & USC 的申請是別具意義的
   假若兩家都沒發interview invitation ，somehow暗示他們不覺得我的goal can be luanched in US currently.
   Very serious problem = ="

   Furthermore, Film Commission Director 下了指示，要我無論如何盡全力get admissions from schools @ LA (我又何嘗不想呢？)
   慚愧啊 @@

3. 感覺是可以secure 個 intern in film industry @ Taipei / LA, with the assistance from Director.
   要是被放進wait list，或許能夠跪請她幫發個recommendation letter~~

然后如果最近换了工作，而Admission 不知晓，建议发email 给他们update, 然后顺便再表示下衷心

The MBA Admissions office released an early batch of decisions late yesterday afternoon.  lease note that this was a relatively small group and that we are still evaluating files, conducting interviews and sending out interview invitations as we speak.  Some, not all, admits also received fellowship offers, so be assured that upcoming Round 2 admits will definitely be considered for fellowships as well.
As I mentioned previously, we are still sending out interview invites, and plan to do so for the next few weeks.  We are doing our best to evaluate all files as quickly and carefully as possible and really appreciate your patience as we process our biggest round of the year.  Our office plans to release another small batch of decisions in the next week or two, but expect that the vast majority of Round 2 applicants will get their decisions on the final release deadine of April 4th.
