总结了一下昨天的SC，问题一大堆：

Choice D presents a false compound: determined is an adjective modifying local times and differed is the simple past tense of to differ. Because they serve different grammatical functions, these words cannot be treated as parallel elements joined by and. Choice E is best: without which, determined and differing function not as verb elements but as parallel modifiers of local times.
这段解释我有点疑问：既然说differed这里是动词不能用and和前面的determined 连接对应，那么为什么differed就不能算过去分词，这样不就可以对称了吗？而要用现分differing？我觉得用differed更好呀。
