关于置顶贴里的一个语法问题

在拜读置顶贴里shinogigi写的 [原创]一点想法给所有的G友们（请大家仔细看看）http://forum.chasedream.com/GMAT_Preparation/thread-36773-1-1.html 一帖时 ，读到这么一段话

Many people went to Shanghai during holidays, some of who are blind.; Many people went to Shanghai during holidays, some of them blind.这个时候正确答案是后者，我的总结就是some of them 比 some of who好（在日常英文中这两个都是对的），事实也是证明了这一点。


可是我怎么觉得应该是some of whom are blind呢。求解惑
