虽然这篇很短的，难度也不算大。 我个人认为答案是D， 可不是。 why not D, why C

我也刚做了这题，跟你一样错。。。。
后来找到原题，是老GRE一篇长文章的首段和其中一道原题。
D错了因为clients是知道most elementary scientific principle--就是这个能量守恒定律，所以才会怀疑。
选C 。原题是后面的几段长文字解释了这个多出来的energy是为什么，大致是转换成evaporator了神马的。。。
要是考试真这么考，我可能排除法了。。。
