“Sigh, unfortunately, this is all true.
I got it from 2010-11 china market post:
"I seriously can't believe there hasn't been a news report about PKU HSBC Business School in the US yet. I visited there from my current University a couple of years ago, then again a couple of months ago, and found no students or faculty on the campus. The stories that I heard from a couple of western faculty were that there was widespread sex between the deans, faculty, and students (and I mean in all directions), the school does not pay them their full 300k - 400k RMB salary on time, or sometimes at all, that almost nobody finishes their first contract, and that the school has a tendency to sue their former faculty under threat of sending bad reviews to their next employer.
On my visit, I asked why one of the dorms was blocked off, and was told one of their students killed themselves. The school must have covered it up. It was never in the news, which I searched, as I am fluent in Chinese. They can't hold onto their western faculty, and what few of their students came to school didn't seem to speak English.
Hai Wen is the Dean of the school, and seems to be running it into the ground while stealing money from the school. Vincent Chang has been accused on the Chinese BBS of having sex with students, faculty, and was once accused of raping twins. He is an American citizen. How can the Americans let this happen? I guess they don't know.
On my visit, I also visited Guanghua, Renmin, Tsinghua, etc, and those were all wonderful schools. If you're going to China for the low pay and lazy co-workers, at least don't go to PKU HSBC Business School. Don't forget that this school is located in Shenzhen, which is like a hooker-wasteland."
Is it true? If it is not true, why the school don't clarify this???”
