把北美那个MM的英文拿过来读了一下，还有谁贡献了一个中文的（繁体字的那篇），总结Lost City的特征如下：
Lost city的特征：
1、    温度低（90度）
2、    碱性
3、    没有metal sulfide! Black smokers 有
4、    富有钙，碳酸钙，所以产生的是白烟囱，且其Tower比black smokers最高的Tower还要高！
5、    有氢，会传导电子到氧，过程中产生能量（英文：Hydrogen is full of energy as a consequence of its ability to transfer electrons to other compounds, such as oxygen, releasing energy in the process。 繁体资料：礦物與水反應的同時，產生氫氣及甲烷氣）
6、    从一种气体传导电子到另一种气体的现象叫chemically reduced. 如果某一时期富含reduced gas，则表示生命的起源同时发生。Lost city是最好验证这种idea的实验室。而且2008年Giora表示Lost city确实含有small organic compounds，其他的works也显示Lost City also produce small organic acids，这两个findings confirm the types of chemical reactions necessary to create organic compounds from inorganic compounds—a simple but critical step in prebiotic （生命起源的）chemistry.（繁体材料：無機礦物與海水反應形成的失落城市熱泉系統，提供了一個可能是生命起源的環境；無疑是探索生命初期演化的絕佳地點。）
