 如果C是正确答案的话，似乎与原文“ return to its prerecession level in the second year"是矛盾的。
 由于C选项说的那些retailer在recession之前已经有financial difficulties那么他们应该是没有按时
 pay off credit 如果他们在recession第一年破产了,那么这些破产的retailer排除,那么second year 的
 按时paid off的proportion 应当是高于prerecession level的，而非return to.

 不知是不是我在英语理解上有误，求各位NN指教，谢谢！！

说说我个人的理解。我觉得C的意思就是第一年有经济困难信誉不好的公司都倒闭了，所以第二年信誉好的公司自然比例就增加了，所以第二年的还款率就上升了哈。所以一看就选C咯

这题应该是类比型的，只要找出是第一年和第二年的差别就可以解释为什么第二年还款增加了
