想了解一下在atlanta,哪个学校的FINANCE PHD program比较好，是GSU？ GT？还是Emory？谢谢

Emory应该和GT/GSU不是一个层次的。GT学校总体声誉自然比GSU好，但finance phd和GSU差不多，当然要我选我肯定觉得GT比GSU好。

In terms of faculty research, all three schools are really good, with Emory particularly strong in empirical asset pricing.  In terms of Finance Ph.D. program, I personally think that GSU is better than GT and comparable to Emory:  http://robinson.gsu.edu/finance/phd-graduates.html．

Emory 的finance phd很新，不过前几年出来的几个人都place的很不错，应该比gsu要好。

Emory今年不是不招生吗？LZ申请明年的吧

I am an applicant to GSU this year. True, that the faculty prestige and overall reputation of GSU is lower than Emory. But in terms of placement record, I would not say GSU is "not comparable" to Emory. They have placed PhD students to universities such as Tulane and U Arizona. That is pretty impressive considering how common wisdom ranks the program.

emory的Jegadeesh就可以横扫gsu了, 更不用说jay shanken了。gsu去ua的那美国人是有publication的。Emory的中国人可以去ufl，请问gsu的呢？gsu的fin是搞的还不错，但跟emory还是没有可比性。
