请问GSU, GT, Emory 哪个学校的FINANCE PHD program更好？

come on, a 4-coauthored JF publication with Wei Jiang, a big guy and the associate editor of JF, means pretty much nothing on the job market. They just treat the student as a RA unless he/she has some promising solo work.

GSU is clearly at least one tier below Emory in terms phd programs and placements. In terms of faculty research, at least two tiers below.

i cannot agree with you more.

emory的Jegadeesh就可以横扫gsu了, 更不用说jay shanken了。gsu去ua的那美国人是有publication的。Emory的中国人可以去ufl，请问gsu的呢？gsu的fin是搞的还不错，但跟emory还是没有可比性。

having a student publish in top journal does not contribute to the overall reputation of gsu finance.

compared with emory, a gao1 shuai4 fu4, gsu is a diao3 si1, always.

I am currently a student at GSU.  Emory has a great, and relatively new, program, no doubt.  I have many friends there and also took a Ph.d. course by Jegadeesh.  Based on my personal experience, I am confident to say that GSU has a solid program too.  Check out what the students did recently if you like: http://robinson.gsu.edu/finance/phd-accomplishments.html.  I personally disagree with the statement about the "non-comparability" of the two programs.  eople have different opinions.  So we can agree to disagree.  Of course, it is not easy for schools like GSU to build up the program reputation, which is something we have been working really hard on.

ls捍卫自己学校我们都理解。大家只是客观评价学校，但没有认为gsu的学生就一定比emory差。我的意思是说gsu的路还长着呢，像utah，asu这些都很难超过，和emory比还是有点不现实。
