原文中200万夫妻want to adopt 但只有50000  但这数据是1982的

A 是说夫妻want to adopt 的 上升 但我觉得还要加上adoption没有increase significantly比较好 才能维持far fewer

C 说adoption 的数量每年差不多 那间接说明了couple want to adopt的 和 adoption的差距 一扬大

个人意见 请多指教

查到no fewer than 是emphasize that a number is large 。。

谈谈我的理解，希望有些帮助，

C选项表明了：一年中实际收养到的数目＝可供收养的孩子的人数=50,000 adoptions，

同时题干中又说Two million couples are currently waiting to adopt，说明有200万的夫妇waiting to adopt 仅有的50000个孩子， 这样可以看出There are far fewer children available for adoption than there are people who want to adopt。

原文中　并没有明却说明the number of availabe for adoption

A 只说people who want to adopt 增加　但the number of availabe for adoption 还是不明却

个人意见 请多指教

只说The number of couples waiting to adopt has increased significantly 没有任何意义，

但我认为如果没有c,a 也可看成是正确的，他加强的方向是正确的，但力度不够
