Minutes of AND’s First Face-to-Face Gathering

This Sunday afternoon (June 15), AND launched its first face-to-face gathering.

Attendees:

Attendees namely Dreambox, Ellainezhang, Jermey, Richardgan, Baobaobear, Haojj and Alan. (Three of the AND’s members failed to attend. Two out of Beijing and the third one pursing PhD. degree in United States.)

Form:

Due to small number of attendee, the gathering held in form of board meeting.

Main Topics:

Each of the seven possible reapplicants introduced her background and application experience (school selection, essay writing, interview etc.). The review seasoned with small talks mainly regarding:

1. Impression on Tuck, Wharton, UMBS, Kelley, UC Berkeley, Yale etc.
2. Futures of IB in China
3. Job future in US and Canada
4. Difference between Canadian and US B-schools
5. Cost & effect of professional essay editing service
6. GMAT scores

Conclusions:

AND Members
1. Warmed up relationship
2. Favored form of future activities (face to face gathering to foster ad hoc sub-teams)

Actions to take:

1. Keep the door open for new members
2. Test on the idea of ad hoc sub-teams on specific areas like past essays review, career goals discussion, school research, etc. to accommodate need of different members

don't know why the contents are not capital sensitive. the post looks a little funny if you can not distinguish name "and" from conj. "and", haha...

The worse thing is that I could not edit the post by boldfacing "AND"...

Nope. This time is Cabo, near Scite. RBT is also a nice place. Maybe next time...
