这道题我选的是A,答案是C,但又在beatgmat给的答案是A还有,现在c我好像能有点明白了,但是A还是不是很明白

讲讲我的思路哈。
这题A我做的时候压根没读懂,速度pass了,看到C选项就绝对对就选了。
思路是:政府认为监狱的人过的太舒服了,导致没有什么威慑力,所以犯罪率上升。因此为了降低犯罪率,取消监狱的大学课程。
反对的argument是:因为接受监狱教育的人比没有接受的人出狱后犯罪少,所以取消课程会提高犯罪率。
反对的内在逻辑是教育使人变好(这个推理是关键),出狱后不会犯罪,所以有利于降低犯罪率(ultimate goal)。对C取非,就是接受教育的人本来就比不接受的人犯罪可能性小。直接破坏了内在的逻辑:教育并不能使人变好。

这题我实际笔记比我列在这里的简图更简单,我用圆圈里一个P表示Premise,圆圈里一个C表示conclusion. 箭头表因果推导,上下箭头是rise/decrease,大于小于是比较关系,~表示correlation,=或者双向箭头表示相等或逻辑等价....

这么下来就是一套单词缩写(或者首字母,或者直接XYZ)+逻辑符号,自己明白意思就行。也不是很整齐地一行一行,而是这样:

P1: X > Y
               }  C: X > Z
P2: Y > Z

悲了和剧,今天做一套GWD,CR 4/9 44.44%  有2 、3道不是看不懂,就是看完没想法,都花了4分钟,直接导致做的时候气场不足,整个PACE都乱了。
阅读暴力后果然强大 14/16,包括有那篇水权的,做起来很顺,pace也很好,短的2分钟,长的3分钟,答题1分钟,就是有道题目看了A选项就知道是正确了,但题目巨冗长,还是花时间看完了,浪费1分钟。下次直接选得了。
语法都是没有巩固的点,慢慢归纳。
先吃个饭琢磨下SC问题在哪里。

我也没看懂,选的时候就在a和c里面,最后倒戈为a

阅读真的太amazing了,还有cr,yiayia之前的不是一直很不错,所以表觉得悲剧哇,加油加油

是个好方法,这样的话自己能够理清就ok,特别是对于题目冗长的,不错不错~!!

今天起得晚,上午的语法笔记也没弄完,╮(╯▽╰)╭
下午花了35分钟写了篇argument
是这个月jj的第一道题,但我想的点和整理的点不太一样,有495字居然
issue我就楞在那儿了
接着数学jj
但是一下午都要睡觉,提不起神
gwd只能放在晚上来做了
今天真是出奇的慢···中午出去吃饭买了个台式的键盘准备来练习打字的,买回来才发现还是笔记本的,待会吃晚饭去换一下

有三月份考的童鞋看看这篇argument
The following appeared as part of a memorandum from the loan department of the Frostbite National Bank:
“We should not approve the business loan application of the local group that wants to open a franchise outlet for the Kool Kone chain of ice cream parlors. Frostbite is known for its cold winters, and cold weather can mean slow ice cream sales. For example, even though Frostbite is a town of 10,000 people, it has only one ice cream spot—the Frigid Cow. Despite the lack of competition, the Frigid Cow’s net revenues fell by 10 percent last winter.”
我和jj上参考的点不一样
我大概想的是这几个
1) 无厘头假设  
冬天冷,冷了冰淇淋就卖不出去,推不出不该贷款,假如这个地方,冬天冷而短,夏天长而热的,冰淇淋的销售还是可以提上去
2)销量不好不是不该贷款的唯一原因,还有其他原因要考虑,比如,这个冰淇淋公司的信誉很好,管理很先进
3)样本不足
  说是去年网上销售收入减少了10%,只有百分比,没有绝对量不可信
  而且,只是网上收入,假如顾客更爱去实体店亲自购买呢
