我觉得这里是考虚拟，只能用were, 没有was。

但是，如果用虚拟，考虑到表结果，应该是should或者be啊。。。。

而且，而且，我刚注意到整个句子的结构似乎有问题（cover不是谓语，可谓语哪去了），是楼主写错了，还是请NN指教？
