C is not relevant. It seems that you are assuming that the reason that some do not respond to the treatment is that the causes are different. This is not what the arg ument is about. I think the problem is that all patients who do not respond to the treatment can be considered as "not adhereing to the treatment" and the facts will then be discounted. There is no time limit of how long is long enough to be considered adhereing.

Gosh, what if its because treatment itself is fallacious ?
