我来解答你的问题吧。。。B选项之所以weaken了argument 是因为该选项指出了 “为什么过去的经验不能apply到现在的新情况上”
因为在过去Colson开业之后，把当地的一些其他小店给弄破产了，但是后来周围陆陆续续，一些新开张的折扣店逐渐在这个区域繁荣起来了。（这里面其实有一个assumption，即折扣店跟非折扣店相比，具有天然的竞争优势。）
但是这次，Spendless店本身是个折扣店，而且是个大型的很牛逼的折扣店。这个大店的开业，会把现存的这些折扣店（Colson开业后替代了原先非折扣店的折扣店）给排挤下去。
因为这两次替代过程，本质上完全不同，过去的经验无法用来运用和解释现在的情况。现在的这些小折扣店，明显面临了更加严酷的竞争环境。所以当他们破产以后，也很难有什么其他店替代他们。（除非出现了一种比折扣店还牛逼的店）、
