答案是E么？

题干说大致说的就是选举的支持率是和人们的可支配收入成正比的，1952年人们可支配收入下降，所以那一年现任政府输掉了选举。

E就是说，除了参选人的政治立场（其实我也不完全清楚什么是ideological positions）还有其他因素会影响选举的结果。正好这里的其他因素就和题干里的可支配收入成为了对照。
