我想是preventing是modify整个逗号前的话，但是从句子逻辑意思来讲sound can.....distance并不能解释prevent这个动作，而前半句的延伸，后面的by......densities才是解释，所以e选项grammer没错但是意思错了

错的啦。。。。。是sound是被prevented。。。。不会主动伴随的，而且本题考查的是独立主格。。。。。C为答案
