1说： A导致B
2说： B导致A，而不是A导致B。。。2的说法正是给了1的EVIDENCE A的一个另外解释。

1说： A导致B
是不是说: students parttime-->academic problems
但是对2 说的话,
我的理解是: 许多学生出去赚的钱很容易能够弥补他们学习上的不成功.
我不太明白你说的

2 的意思是说ACADEMIC  ROBLEMS 发生在前。。而学生出去赚钱只是为了弥补ACADEMIC FAILURE。。。（言下之意： ACADEMIC FAILURE--->MAKE MOENY）
所以给了PART TIME JOB的出现另外一个解释。。
