这题的关键在于怎么理解“it is not likely that,for any species of monkey, crowding increases aggression as significantly as was seen in rats.”

尤其是当中的“for any species of monkey”到底是修饰什么。

结论如果是所有的猴子都没有老鼠有攻击性，但是实验里用的只有那种猴子。

C选项那种猴子是猴子中最有攻击性的了，言外之意那种猴子都OK其他猴子更没问题，加强。

反之结论如果是并不是所有的猴子都像老鼠一样，那自然就应该按楼主想得选A。

个人倾向于选C。

结论提出主干嘛,it is not likely that crowding increases aggression as significantly as was seen in rats.意思很明显啦,crowding是关键词,那么肯定就是说uncrowded的地方也有这些aggression,才能strengthen.
C感觉是比较的category错误.

我的理解是最后的any monkey，所以选C，R monkey已经是最aggressive的了

楼主，我一直琢磨你提出的这个问题，昨天还真心认为A对，但是今天我认为C对，因为it is not likely that,for any species of monkey, crowding increases aggression as significantly as was seen in rats. 这里面any species应该是说所有种类，由于前面是否定not，所以用any.
此题目的应该是考推理范围扩大后如何加强。除猕猴外所有猴子侵略性<猕猴侵略性<rats侵略性，所以加强结论。别再纠结了。上面有一哥们把英文解释也贴出来了，估计老外没咱们想这么多。

但是大家不觉得整篇paragraph都是在讲crowding是否会increase aggression的吗?跟其他的猴子有毛关系啊?而且取非的话,如果没在那些uncrowded conditions中发现这种behavior,那么能说明aggression是由于crowding引起的.
那么就weaken结论了啊!!!!!

感谢各位大侠讨论分析，我昨儿也想了好久，觉得，从整体来看，题目是要说通过恒河猴的聚众反应来看，似乎猴子这种动物(包括所有种类的猴子)就不像老鼠那么一聚众就闹事儿。那么按照C的说法，恒河猴已经是猴子里面最最aggressive的了，也就是说其他种类的猴子更加不爱闹事儿。

A的说法呢，我想是不是也可以理解成，“猴子的那种避免与权力领导产生冲突的特征与在不在聚众环境无关，他们本来就是那个样子的”，所以对题目没有加强的作用。这样A也成了无关选项……

恩……LZ是觉得答案给C应该就有C的道理，不知道以上的理解对不对~
